Re: very odd power steering behaviour.. This ever happen to anyone before?

In my case it was because I was cornering so hard that the fluid would slosh all to one side of the res bottle so it couldnt get pulled into the hose. Ridiculous I know, but I used to go HARD with...

Re: interchangeable parts - 1996 Accord

It isnt that hard to replace once you use a flare wrench. Hardest part is finding a replacement that isnt leaking itself

Re: Car leaking oil and overheating

At one point my volvo was literally pissing oil from the rear main seal, like.... a quart or more every 2 hours of highway driving, and even so I still had no oil pressure or overheating issues.

Re: Please help identifying what I have so I can search effectively

Sounds like axles to me. Check the boots for damage. Even when my motor mounts were shot I didnt get any sort of clunking like that.

Re: Please help identifying what I have so I can search effectively

The rcoker arms dont look too bad tbh, ive seen much worse in terms of deposits/varnish gunk. Hell mine was much worse when i pulled it to do head gasket and my engine ran fine.

Re PCV valve,...

Re: Please help identifying what I have so I can search effectively

Other advice ill offer is to get the correct fitment for the radiator hoses. Those universal bendy hoses contain a lot of metal bands which like to rust over time.

Change your PCV valve, probably...

Re: Should I get this 95 Accord Wagon

I havent been living in the US for some time now, but that price seems a bit hefty for an automatic. I would want at least a manual trans for that sort of price, given that itll be less trouble long...

Re: Feasibility of Certain Repairs on '94 Accord?

Start with the simplest and easiest thing. Vehicle speed sensor. If that doesnt solve it then concern yourself with gauge cluster.

You can also use the diagnostic function to check what the check...

Re: F20b speed sensor

You will have to do some legwork, but you can check out catalogs on sites like megazip to find a honda torneo sir-t (which came with F20B DOHC VTEC). I think about a 1999. then you go through the...

Re: Transmission Dipstick for a Manual Stickshift?

Aradin and tech8 are spot on. Just a breather with a cap.

Can get it cheap

Re: Loosing coolant

I have the same denso taiwan replacement radiator and i found the quality looked really good before mounting up. Its only been on about 18 months now, but looks great.

For the price I paid, not...

Re: 1995 Honda Accord EX - Wilwoods

You planning to race? That would be the only use case for such a big brake setup since youd need slick tyres to take advantage of it.

The more budget conscious way is to just upgrade to honda...

Re: Cylinder misfire 2

Did the spark plugs you took out have any oil residue on them? Sometimes these can miss when the spark plug tube seals fail (not saying its your problem, but its cheap / free to diagnose)

Re: F22B2 Performance upgrades

I think we answered this in your other thread. Manual transmission and turbocharging is about the only way you are going to make any meaningful power

Re: F22B2 Performance mods

Once upon a time I spent over $1000 on parts for this engine to go faster, good intake, good header, good exahust. Made ALMOST no difference lol.

I was going to do a cam and tune it etc, all while...

Re: F22B2 Performance upgrades

Nope, same power. The car doesnt need injector upgrades unless you are doing MAJOR modificiations.

All the intake will do is make it sound good

Re: Timing Belt

Good call re getting the parts from Rockauto.

The Aisin kit is superior. I only bought the gates because at the time it was on closeout so was ridiculously cheap, but if prices were similar I'd be...

Re: F22B2 Performance upgrades

It'll run exactly the same with the short ram. As a matter of fact, it wont be any faster at all, it'll just sound nicer.

Don't spend a lot on the intake if thats the only mod you are going to do,...

Re: Need help with k swapping 94 accord

I am so curious to see how this goes. I hope OP can prove me wrong, but very often these threads die and nothing comes of it.

I'm excited for his build thread! make it happen

Re: 2000 honda accord tuning

I think a piggyback might be your best bet in that case.

Something like an APEXi AFC Neo - but find out if you have any tuners or dynos in your area first.

All that said, those automatic...

Re: Need help with k swapping 94 accord

I'm with Aradin on this.

It is going to cost you A LOT more than you think it will. I think you need to start pricing out EVERYTHING that you would need and face the realistic costs attached.

Re: Need help with k swapping 94 accord

I'll try to offer a balanced opionion as someone who thought about the K swap in the past. At the end of it all, it just comes down to cost effectiveness. K is a more modern (and in some ways) better...
