I was having the same problem for a while... started watching my wideband when it would happen.

Every time it happens, I would get leaner than 16:1, I would be willing to bet it's a fuel issue.

GSR w/S2 Mani High Idle again

So, after thinking I had solved the idle issue, it's back.

Running a Skunk2 Pro intake manifold, stock throttle body w/LS pulley and Type-R cable, new TB gasket and thermal intake manifold gasket...

What do you think would cause the exhaust to sound raspy and muffled? It didn't sound that way until I started throwin gthe misfire codes... but like I said, they aren't popping now.

I was tuning with the AFC, but since I pulled it out I'm running on just the stock ECU. My part throttle AFR varies between 12.5:1 and 13.5:1, and my WOT is about 10:1.

I checked my oil, too......

Okay... finally solved my idling issue, so I took the Teg out to do a rough street tune yesterday. My wideband ranges from 10:1 to 16:1, and I'm tuning for 13:1 with a 0.5 range (12.5:1 to 13.5:1).

Alright, I double checked all my wiring and didn't find anything wrong.

I took the TB off, cleaned it again, made sure the idle adjustment was all the way in and also made sure the throttle...

I'll check the VAFC wiring again, but like I said, it's a brand new Boomslang harness that I used and when I first hooked it up everything worked and all the sensors checked out.

Yeah, I've clocked the OEM TPS, but the most I can get it to show is 0.005 volts.

Thanks. Yeah, I bought some 194NA ambers as well... I really like them and I hated how the sleeves dimmed them down so I was hoping they didn't have something to do with heat. haha

One simple question: Will an OBD2, 5-speed, GSR tranny mount up to an OBD1 LS engine that was originally auto*?

I have an OBD2 GSR ECU, but I was planning on buying an OBD1 GSR ECU so I could plug it right into the stock harness, unless using a jumper would be a smarter idea.
