A body work quesiton

I ran over what I thought was a traffic cone lying in a busy highway last night and when I looked at the bumper I noticed it took some paint off. Three spots each about half the diameter of a dime....

Those nuts on the rear spindle are often nylock; I believe they should always be replaced with new ones after they are removed. I would guess they are at least 5$ each. In fact when I did this work...
