I believe the OBD1 dist has a sensor that does the same as the crank sensor on the ODBII A4 motor so you have to connect the wires going to the oil pump to the distributor.

It probably needs the EGR ports cleaned. If it's got over 110K miles, then it definitely needs done.

All 96-00 Civic EXs came with a D16Y8 SOHC VTEC all other models (Excluding the 99-00 Si which had a B16 DOHC VTEC) were non VTEC motors

What you want to do is called a "plus 1 fitment" (a 1 inch larger wheel),
You adjust the tire size to keep the diameter within 1/4" of stock so the speedometer is not affected.
The stock Civic size...

The loud blower motor is probably why the previous owner pulled the fuse. He was probably too lazy or cheap to replace it.

Actually a set of OEM bolts is less then $35, and the ARP stud set is $140

The OEM bolts list for $3.45ea. 10 total are required the part# is 90008-PZ1-003

Yes the problem is the compressor clutch. I had the exact same issue with my 2000 EX. 1992-00 Civics and Integras all came with the same Sanden compressor (excluding Models which came with a B series...

Wrong - only struts do this and this is a shock absorber.
Yes the tophat can be moved to line up
I have these Shocks on my 2000 EX and they both fit fine with out having to move it.

The auto tensioner was only an issue on the 93-97 H22 engines. Honda had superseded the part to a newer design for the 98+ model years. Anyone replacing one on a 93-97 and ordering one from Honda...

One of the green plugs is for the HVAC blend door (the temp adj knob) because in '99 it became electronic and the temp control cable was eliminated. The other green plug is for the fan switch.

Here is a DIY for putting in S2000 seats in a 4th gen Prelude. The directions would be exactly the same for a Civic.

You do not need to pull the intake to change the oil cooler o-ring, but it would make the job a lot easier.
