Re: Tranny cooler lines Gen 7, 4 cyl

Thanks. Pretty sure I saw the filter on top of the tranny - but couldn't tell which line went to it. I'll have to look again.

Until you add a...

Re: CB7 Brake Light Warning Circuit ?

I had to deal with the brake bulb warning light after installing LED bulbs in the brake lights. The LED bulbs caused the bulb out warning to light up as they draw very little current. This thread...

Re: How to: power steering to manual

I'm stumped.

Right now this looks like one of those projects where you can understand it, if you already know how to do it.

Sure wish there were some pictures showing the hoses etc. clearly. ...

Re: Alternator connector pinout - for alt cutout switch?

One thing I learned is that the ELD (Electrical Load Detector) plus ECM do cut the alternator electrically when certain conditions are met. Basically, that is: low electrical load, including...

Alternator connector pinout - for alt cutout switch?

Any hints on setting up an Alternator cutout switch for Gen 6?

A connector pinout would be good to have.

I don't want to just yank the connector. I want to be able to electrically disable the...

Re: Where is trunk light switch?

I'm pretty sure I saw a wire going to the latch assembly when I looked at it last.

HOWEVER it looks like since it apparently grounds via the instrument cluster light - if the bulb is dead the...

Adjust rear drum brks at star wheel or at hand lever?

I'm still a brake noob.

Haynes says to adjust the rear brakes at the E-brake handle. Every mechanic I talked with says to adjust them at the star wheels. So what's the deal? I've used both...

OK. I pulled on metal spring tab so the connector comes off the bracket.

Then press on the plastic connector tabs so the connectors come apart? There's a large and a small gray one. They don't...

I've been fighting with the two distributor harness connectors. Which one do I press in on and which one do I pull out on the locking tab thing?

Re: gsr eating oil

Get a little extension for your tailpipe. Just enough so it barely sticks out past the bumper. So most of the soot goes away and doesn't land on the bumper. That's what I did on my Civic HX.

Re: how much mystrey oil down sparkplug holes into cylinder?

I just did the Marvel Mystery Oil (aka MMO) in-the-cylinders treatment. I put 2 oz in each cyl on a 1.6 l. '97 Civic. So that was basically 1/2 of a 16 oz clear bottle, I used the lines on edge to...

Our '96 Accord came to us with 195/65-15's on all wheels.
Stock size for 15's would be 195/60-15 so these are bigger diameter.

Any issues with slightly oversize tires? Speedometer is dead on,...
