The tranny was going bad to begin with, but the leaking is not from the axle seals or the drain plug, i checked both ... Its coming from between the tranny case and the engine. right on the clutch...

cool ! yeah I had a feeling its the throwout bearing. I'm wondering if there would be any other parts that can be damaged by not using dowel pins.

I'm just scared that my clutch...

thats correct i haven't pulled it out yet to inspect.. yes i plan on buying dowel pins on the next tranny install. I'm just wondering how much damage do you think i suffered driving about 150 miles...

I had a friend do a clutch job for me, changed (the clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing)

here comes the big mess ...

Having owned over 7 EKs 5 of them which have d16y7 yes they are torque-less ... however i think if you get an intake and exhaust it will help you with your problem. Remember they have very little...

yeah i read that they are different ... and you cannot switch it up .
I know i need to use 96-98 ex harness but what i'm mostly confused about is the air injection holes that come on 99-00 ex...

would it be that easy though ? because I heard obd2B has some type of " cold start air holes ? " on the intake manifold . and you would have to use obd2B ecu with the jumper to obd2A .

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing ... I looked it up and all obd2 single cam dizzy's are the same ... so i could just use the obd2a dizz as you said.

where could I find that obd2a ex harness...

Yes non-oem replacement used when clutch replaced, but the first replacement transmission i bought and put in with the same clutch kit and non-oem replacement didn't make noise. I had to change back...

Okay, i have 96 EK hatch. I had the clutch replaced.

My Input shaft Bearing is making noise until i press on the clutch all the way then its quiet , and its okay I'm waiting to get another...

Just got a 99 EX Coupe. In trying to get it registered, i had to pass emissions. No check engine light, went to take the emissions test and they said OBD2 Monitors not ready, and told me to drive...
