sounds like it would work to me but maybe try returning to the water neck on the head and keep the line from the bottom of the rad ive done it like this with no problems in the past.

nice work i see a couple small fittment errors that will effect how nice the beads looks on the finished part. When i do a manifold i make it exactly as you have, then ill cut and fit the pieces...

ive welded it before it melts weird as i remember ( takes alot of heat to wet in) i used proper filler for the job so im of no help in that department.

how tall do you need it to be? i would change the angle also keep in mind by changing the angle you will be able to weld in the center easier :)

no problems also if you can make a fusion weld pickling paste will clean the haze off and leave no need to sand. Just a side not if you do get those belts they have a decent bite to them when new,...

we do stuff like this at work all the time the grain will be brighter but loog good when your done we use 2 different tools one is a dyna file with a scotch brite belt the other is a air powered drum...
