I did the spal kit 4 yrs ago, and still running strong. If you can read directions then you are set. its a 2 hrs job, with plenty of breaks, plus the kit come pre-wired so all you have to do is tap...

you need to wire the tach wire into the dash, the tach wire is located behind your battery.

so you fried your original ecu, then you replaced it with a used one? and the new one (the used replacement) is making your car run like shit?

if that's the case, then the used ecu you picked up...

you have to take car in and bring all the keys you want to be flashed to your new ecu, try a diff. honda stealership if the honda guy is 50/50. I think I paid 160 for them to swap ecu and reflashed...

01-03 2 doors have the same headlight
01-03 four door have the same headlight, they can be interchangeable with the 2 door, only thing is that you have to change is the bulb sockets as they are not...

yes you can swap in 04-05 tails into 01-03. you don't need to change the bumper to do this, just some notching on the connections here is a detailed diy...

it fits snug, no cutting required, just some stretching, 2 screws at each side by the fender well and some 3m tape in the center if you want, optional.

we used a dremmel on the sides of the bezzel, you have to remove about 1-1 1/2" from the top and eye ball the sides, you will also have to trim the two bumps on the back of the actual cluster other...

stealership has to reflash it, should be no more than 150 to do, take the keys too because they will have to be reflash to the new ecu aswell

02 Civic EX Auto with 126k miles


Problem: tach and temp neddles are dead, can only take car up to 40mph(limp mode)...
