I realize this is an old thread, but i have the same issue, i put one where it shouldnt be. Does anyone know the diagram INSIDE the control box? Im looking on autozone, and there is none.

I dont really think this is a cap and rotor issue. Im getting spark perfectly fine.

Just checked fluids. Oil is fine, tranny is fine.
Pulled the fuse for the ecu (10 mins). we'll see if it resets. Other then that, does anyone else know what might cause this?

Not the air filter itself, whats on top, looks like a relay. it has the copper wire going to it, with an electrical plug...

No. Springs are designed by application for spring rate and recoil, weight factor in a 2 dr sport coupe compared to a 2dr coupe family car (4dr applicable) will not be the same.

Also - I tried to discnnect a couple other lines, mainly the ones by the TB, the O2, CC, and a couple other random ones. Nothing worked except for the fuse.

Yeah sorry, forgot to specify. Its a 90 CDN EX (US LX model). Is that shim hard to replace? Or i can i just compress the spring, slide the new ones in there, and de-compress it?
