i mean what would happen if they were too long? because the ground from my transmission to engine bay have a little extra sticking out of the metal crimp thing (idk what to call it)

i think i forgot to mention that its an auto to 5 speed conversion too...im thinking it might be something wire related?

i was reading on rywire.com about hardwiring a couple harnesses...could this be a problem? since i did have an auto to manual swap

it was fine for a few months when i first got my car back but now...

oh not only that but my dash lights and everything come on...they probably wouldnt if any one of those grounds was disconnected...or would they?

well i know that all 3 of those grounds are connected ...and my car will start sometimes and then other days i cant get it to start to save my life

it doesnt turn over at all....just makes a noise and its not like a distinct click

i think what im hearing is the fuel pump engaging

maybe it is my dizzy idk

my idle was about 1500 and fluctuated alot with the fitv plugged in...when i unplugged it and covered the hole in the throttle body it sat at 1000 perfectly ....also my iacv wasnt hooked up and i had...

I unplugged the FITV that is under my throttle body and hardwired the IACV on the back of my manifold using the black/blue and yellow/black wires that i read are supposed to go to the IACV

ok so i got a couple harnesses from the junkyard and then i started searching for the wires in my engine bay so i could splice into them

the red/yellow and green/black wires for the intake air...

a whole harness is a lot of money though and i wouldnt be able to pull the whole harness off at a junkyard...im just hoping that splicing into the right wires will work...im guessing i should splice...

bump....

i still have the stock harness in my civic...is it possible to splice into the right wires and run it to the sensors ...not only do i really want to get rid of my CEL...but my car idles...

So i just changed the rotors on my car and got new pads...once i had the rotor back on and the bridge bolted on...i slid the pads into place (all the needed lube applied)...then i slid my caliper...

ok so i called honda today and i actually cant buy just a sensor plug...i have to buy the whole harness which will run me about $830

so i was thinking...if i go to a junk yard and get the right...

the only problem is that i dont have the room to bang the old ones out or the new ones in...also i have tried to bang it a little agressively and it wont budge...or maybe when my little aggressive...

Does anyone know the brake assembly torque specs for a 1998 honda civic ex coupe

i need to know the caliber bolt torque
bridge torque and the (i guess hub nut? that holds the hub and bearing on)

Also i was just thinking about something...if the B20B motor is supposed to be an obd2...why do people run the p75 obd1 ecu?
