the powdercoating shops have a bake cycle they can put it in and it will bake everything off of it. we do it with the grates to our paintbooth and they come back looking new.

sorry i didn't search through the thread for that. IMO it would be easier and cheaper to just tint your sealer to whatever grey you'd like and skip basing out underhood stuff.

wetsanding is only for 600 grit plus. anything coarser you don't need it, just have a blow gun handy to blow the primer/filler off it. You don't need a filler mixing board if you have a good supply...
