Re: pull out hair definitive crank no start workup

ECU my friend. Pull it out and look for damage on the board. But it could be wiring if you touch them and the car dies.

Re: oil leak

I've had this same problem and thought it was the rear main seal. Have you ever replaced the oil sending unit? That's where my leak was. It's right above the oil filter usually.

Re: Took distributor off 97 Honda Civic LX and put it back on, now it won't start.

No it shouldn't. You more than likely got the plug wires on wrong. Trust me I've been there, they are easy to mix up even when you think you have them right.

95 Sedan Power Lock Switch Will Unlock but Not Lock

Like the title says. I already rewired the door plugs and got the doors to unlock with the switch, but when I press lock all I hear is a single click from the relay inside the control unit in the...

Re: 96 Civic Battery Cable on a 94

I checked the parts diagrams and the nut that connects the cable to the starter are the same size on both years, and the bolt the connects the cable to the fuse box are the same size. I see universal...

Re: power unlock wont work

Ron J always knows what he's doing on here. Definitely just check the wires. I suck with ohmeters because I rarely use one. Usually when something like what you desrcibe happens it's either the...

Re: Stock 92 Civic - Hard to start and bogging when revved

Recently I had the same problems when I put in a quarter tank of 10% ethanol blend at a no name gas station. Car was hard to start and would bog down when I would try to accelerate. I usually try to...

Re: How can I tell if my subframe is bent? (Pictures inside)

So after a lot of measuring, I determined the easiest way to determine if it was bent or not was to measure from the part of the control arm right behind the lower ball joint to the middle of the...

Re: How can I tell if my subframe is bent? (Pictures inside)

I'm just measuring distances from certain parts to the subframe on another Civic I know is good and straight. So far everything seems to be matching up. I'll post the results when I am finished.

Re: How can I tell if my subframe is bent? (Pictures inside)

Do you think a body shop or an alignment place could tell me if either of the subframes are bad if they are already off the car?

How can I tell if my subframe is bent? (Pictures inside)

The car is a 1994 Civic LX. I hit a curb and I replaced the LCA with a temporary one until I could find one at a junk yard that had a hole for the sway bar. I am also replacing the knuckle, shock,...

D15z1 Spark Plugs on a D15b7? (pics included)

I have a d15b7 where the plug wires are old aftermarket cheapos from the previous owner and I'm concerned that was what caused my ICM amd coil to fry. I have some Denso plugs with less 5k on them...

Re: 93 del sol s d15b7 mods - best bang for $700?

Z6 tranny hands down. I got mine for $100 with low miles, maybe you could be so lucky. Will swap right in if you already have a stick. The acceleration gain will be noticeable.

Take the other's...
