I have swapped a H23 dohc non vtec head on a F22 block . The swap is fairly simple. But I have never went from nonvtec to vtec. Nor have I swapped an h22 head on a f22 block . 92-97 h23 head...

I forgot to mention , that if you can fab some of the parts as the turbo manifold and down pipe. You can build your own kit for about 1000-1200. Youll still need engine managment.

I beg to differ on not noticing any power change. Your saying that no boost vs. vtec boost you couldnt tell the difference.

If your using a vtec controller. Why would you want to turn the vtec...

I would turbo for the power !!!! Also its cheaper than the H22 swap , plus . F-series motors love boost. Cant boost h22 unless its sleeved. Not a reliable motor once it sees a turbo , But there...

Never heard of the blanket trick, but cant be hard or cost anything to find out if it works. Give it a shot and let us know .

My 95 accord had 2 RF 12s. That car RATTLED like crazy from the rear. After some Dynomat. The difference was insane. Get you some dynomat.

Youll feel a big difference in the two . But not a tremendous amount of power. Maybe 10-15hp at most . I believe. There is no point in wasting your money on a Vtec controller. As far as my opinion...

94-97 accord ex vtec sohc will bolt right up . Just need the ecu and wiring harness, or wire the vtec up yourself. Pretty simple swap.

uhhh, why would you need valves and a camshaft to achieve 200hp . Turbo will get you over that alone . You wont need pistons on 8psi from a t3t4. Stock valves will hold quite a bit before melting....

F22 motors love boost !! I would spend the money on a turbo kit . The others are pointless if you want to see 200hp .

I dont know how much work was involved and what the job intelled. I know he bought these and made his accord 5 lug.


But that makes sense on putting extra force on the lugs instead of the hub....
