But the 2 degrees of toe-in you introduced by lowering won't hurt at all.

Just drop it and get a toe alignment...

One thing I would recommend is that you take it by a good, well known shop and ask for a used car inspection. They might charge a fee for it but being new to the game it might be just what you need....
