Re: more balanced braking how ?

Wouldn't the tire be easier to lock up if it had more load on it?

When I first started tracking my car I did a (front and rear) brake swap and never changed the master cylinder. Braking never...

Re: Koni yellow w/ ground control vs kyb agx

I've had AGX's blow with Tien lowering springs just daily driving. Coincidentally, my buddy had the same setup on his civic and had his blow out not long ago.

Definitely worth just paying a little...

Re: First HPDE

Have fun, man. Don't get caught up trying to be the fastest car out there. No trophies in HPDE. Nice to see someone else is glad to track a single cam.

Re: 99 civic alternator and speedo not working

Motor harness.

Not sure if its related to this, but 96-00 models that came with the D16y7 had a TSB out on a harness issue. Right behind the (original D16) manifold the harness would rub up...

Re: EG Vera's build/timeline thread

Wanted to go to Honda Day this year pretty bad after I saw that post on the rr/autox session.

How was the time trial laid out?

Was anyone allowed to go on or only TT licensed drivers?

Preferably the one on the...

Re: rattling/vibrating by pulleys

Could be inner or outer tie rods...

Re: 1999 civic lx exhaust manifold/header/cat problem

If you were to put a cat after that "header" and plug up the 02 sensors before and after (assuming you have good 02 sensors), you should be fine and not toss a CEL.
