It really sounds like your tranny is kaput. From everything you've said, this was exactly what the auto tranny in my 95 sol did. The good news is that finding another probably won't cost too much....

You might try a can of BG 44K. The stuff is kind of expensive ($25) but you pour it in the gas tank and it helps clean things out. The place I take my Honda uses it and Honda dealerships recommend it.

That's a bit much for that high of mileage. My 95 daily driver has 171k miles and I'm the 3rd owner. IMO, your potential sol is not worth more than 2k.
