i would prefer to just buy the retrofitted headlights and just put them...

im new to thew whole 'lighting' scene, never had hids before so im trying to aquire the best look, i dont know how to retrofit, or really understand what it is.

so i got 9006 600k HIDS for my teg, the pro lumen brand.

they are nice as hell i got them mounted and wired up to the low beams in the headlights. they shine nice, illuminate everything perfectly...

yup def a steal, round here jdm shops sell used trannys for 600$ and thats only LS trannys.. $800 for gsr's and 1000$ for type R's

then 5 hours labour at 80-100$ an hour

id say do it do it !

ill try and get a better clip but no it doesnt sound like a heat shield it sounds more like somethings SCRATCHING at high rpms and it only happens in first and second, its really weird..

the sound only happens just when driving.

Ii know the car sounds loud but i dont have an exhaust on it, i only have the stock mufler, thats the engine your hearing not exhaust lol.

which cable is this? the ground or the plug type wire that some people remove to fill it up with tranny fluid sometimes?

i dont understand how a wire could cause a scratchy sound ? can i get any...

yeah the plug fits in the door and its under the rubber, the rubber has to inserts that go over little nipples on the green casing around the plug just pull it back and u can pull it out

with a 2000 engine thats into the obd2 series

95 and back are obd1's anything beyond is obd2.

i'd go with the obd 2 (cause it will support vtec i beleive) unless you can get the obd1 to work...

just wondering, all my integras always came with type R wings or none so making the holes to mount it was easy, now this integra has the GSR spoiler..

the type r wings bolt up to those holes NP...

scratching sound upon acceleration at higher rpms?

so upon reving into the higher rpms (past 4k to be exact)

on the passenger side it sounds like a scratching noise happening.
the noise is only present in the high rpms but not the low.
