Considering some of the responses here, I dont think every was reading the original post. Compression was terrible because of the valve lash issue after the previous owner swapped back to stock cams...

It looks like the jdm type S had ATTS? At tleast H Motors is selling as it does.

If we went this route, how direct is the swap if we swapped everything?

or to save money, and only got an engine...

I had a similar $100 ebay exhaust on my car. i really just bought it for the 3 inch piping. I added an additional inline resonator, and replaced the fart can with a thrush hush super turbo muffler....

The car was DPFI, but the engine harness is from a MPFI car. are there wires i need to add fro the ecu to the shock tower? and i would assume the easiest method would be to use an OBD0 PR4 ecu?

well there are multiple speed sensors on the auto trans, if one fails the car may stop too keep it from damaging itself because it doesn't know the speed of the car/trans shafts.
