Ok, don't ever rule out timing. I thought that I had fully checked my timing but I didn't.

Somehow I pulled into the driveway and the car jumped timing by two teeth?

Retimed the motor, 200psi...

Changed oil, light amount of oil added to top of cylinders.

Connected everything back up.

The oil seems to smell of fuel so I will change the oil, pull the plugs, add a few drops of oil to each cylinder and then do another compression test.

I know the 99-01 civic distibutor cap works for the jdm h22a.
does the coil as well?

and information on removing and testing the ICM would be great.

Check the coil 1.4omhs so its good
correct voltage going into the distributor
still no spark..

need information on checking the ignition coil..

this is just crazy, drove...

No this is the crazy thing,
All we did was take the cap off.
Try to remove rotor (wouldn't come off)
Put cap back on, won't start..

I have a huge show I've been working toward Saturday, its...

I very lightly took the discoloration off the points.. lets hope I didn't..
I have a new rotor that I was going to put on, but even after unscrewing the bolt to remove the rotor it wont move at all.

their is a spring toward the bottom of the cap.
is their a carbon point or anything that goes on the end of the spring?

Distributor Troubles..

Ok, car seemed to somewhat "bog down" so I pulled the dributor cap off and cleaned the corrosion that was inside (with a small wire brush and blew it out with an air compressor) and put it back on....
