The plastic cover is nothing but a protective cover, not required. If you didn't damage the tip, its still fine. You could have them flow tested if you are unsure.

LSD gives traction to both wheels, Limited Slip Differential. This is not preventing you from installing your axle. Also, you don't have LSD unless it's aftermarket or you have a Type-R transmission....

Yes, de-pin the wires, do not cut them. Also keep in mind LHD and RHD mirrors are physically different molds for the different viewing angles.

Should not be the radiator. I'd do a leakdown test at this point. I am not sure if you got a blown headgasket K24 or not.

Your tie rods bushings are shot. From your description, it's also possible you have a bad axle or wheel bearing. I agree this should be fixed before any alignment.

Is that correct? It's there for a reason. If you don't have enough oil pressure to engage VTEC, you certainly wouldn't want to switch to the high cam maps. That's the only thing that stands out to me.
