We have a 01 CRV Automatic with 170k miles. I recently noticed a whine. The whine only happens when I am on the accelerator, which makes me think it's the transmission.

What spark plugs and wires should I use? I've heard NGK ZFR4F-11 is good for the hx. Also what transmission fluid should I use? It currently shifts smooth....

I'm looking to buy a 98 HX 5 speed manual. The owner claims 43Mpg freeway but the new EPA is rated at 39 mpg highway. I was wondering what you guys are getting now that the car is over 10 years old....

Yep. I know its weird. I know for sure its not the motor and I know for sure its not the throwout bearing. So that's all I could think of. I can hear the "knocking" noise from underneath the tranny

Hello. I have a 2004 v6 6 speed manual coupe and it makes knocking noises once in a while. I'm guessing its the input shaft bearing because I can only hear the noise during idle with pedal disengaged...
