OBD1 and OBD2 h22a1 vs h2a4

I have a 95 accord ex 4dr with h22a1- year built 92. I did the swap a few years ago. I need to get another motor.

My question is, Does anyone Know for SURE, if I could buy a 00-01 h22a4 engine...

when pistons have major leak, NOT rings then during combustion, the excess exhaust will rush downward rather than out the manifold.


My h22 was like that, the oil become black in roughly 1 wk.

remove the vtec and clean them up.
if all wires are correct, p28 or p13 should kick in but better on p28. Hondata s300

most likely if I have the shop bore it out, It might be out of spec, My is the BBBB so the type is just fit perfectly. I talk to Hmotor and they say that only the BBBA can use it if the wall get bore...

yes, exactly... Maybe I should have mention that before. I'm not quite sure why alot of importers have in their description as for 98-01 accord only and no one seems to mention that it is a board on...

I don't think U understand, Im talking about h23 dohc vtec (220Hp) from 97+ lude that some importors are selling. I have h22 but it gave up on me, I was considering getting a h23 instead of another...
