Re: Weld it or scrap it?

it is, I think the old owner tightened a head bolt down with fluid in the hole, it's a Z6 block. After talking with a few machine shops local as well as a few fab guys I know they all seem to believe...

Re: Weld it or scrap it?

yeah the only reason I am tempted to weld it is the fact that the rotating assembly pulled out of the engine had no signs of any kind of side loadings its as if the crack came from a wreck or...

Re: live feed IFO Las Vegas

Not thinking he has much of an idea of how to go about this whole race track thing. Either way Tony should line up against this test and tune drag car may make for a better race.

Re: IMPORT FACE-OFF: Baytown, TX - 1/30/11

We (MKC) will be making it down for sure with the black coupe as well as a rotary car I believe.

Re: Injector Issues

It almost has to be fuel related IMO because of the fact that I have nothing built up in the head of the injector only the tips have buildup like that. Possibly something to do with the atomization...

Re: Injector Issues

I've been running it for a little over 4 years (between cars), only filling up at two stations within the area, whatever caused this can easily be narrowed down to the last month of running in which...

Re: Injector Issues

The more I think about it the more I think it is other parts of the fuel system than the injectors themselves. This car has the factory fuel system from 96, looking at the factory injectors they too...

Re: Injector Issues

Would rather not, I am more curious as to if it's just the fuel gumming up, if it is taking something out of the tank or filter, or if it is eating away at the lines. If it is just the fuel then I...

Injector Issues

So about a month ago I noticed my car began to run nearly a point leaner, didn't really think too much of it as I found out a day before I pulled the long block to sell it. I got to thinking about it...

Re: D2B Addapter Plate

I agree with Boosted_01 R, a specific parts list and pictures that work would be great, I am very interested in trying this out but un-clean on what needs to be purchased.

Re: how much boost on stcok internals?? d series

ARP Head studs, OEM honda gasket ONLY (they are like 40 bucks), and a good tune. I drove mine with ~15psi on a 250k mile motor which was right at 248 whp, beat the hell out of it daily and never had...

Re: 11.8@121mph bone stock ls t3/t4 20psi

the owner of that tbss does not have a mustang is all I was saying, he has that car and had a turbo F-body, never a mustang, and goes by skinnies on KCSR.

What are your plans to get this thing...

Re: Feed back on Spoolin Performance Intercooler

Bought quite a few things from him, and everything fit great, would not hesitate to buy an intercooler from him if I was in need of one.

Re: 11.8@121mph bone stock ls t3/t4 20psi

good run man.

I believe Chuong's dyno is a DynoJet

and the TBSS doesn't belong to a guy with mustangs, the owner is a guy named Justin, who has owned quite a few F-bodies.

Re: Push/Pull vaccum lines and fittings

surprisingly I have found that the plastic fittings hold up much better than the full metal bodies, the full metal bodies seem to become loose after a while and create pretty bad boost leaks.

Re: vacuum source for tial wastegate? (srmofo)

never heard of testing a manifold like that at all, I would imagine that even with a terribly designed manifold a 1.5" hole in it would not allow much of anything, although I am not saying that is...

Re: Large amount of condensation and carbon coming out of the exhaust, bad? (JDM turbo DC)

that doesn't sound terrible, a lot of the reason you are seeing it now is because it is not getting burnt up or stuck in the muffler with the rip in your flex pipe, I have ran open down pipe on a...

Re: (Turbocivic94)

Would love to see how they work when it comes to holding a fairly large amount of boost. When do you plan on testing them out?
