I know this plug is related to the turn signal and probably leads to a relay somewhere, but I need this plug (female end/the one that's pictured) and it's at a junkyard. I didn't have the tools to...

due to the fact that this problem didn't start until I chnaged my thermostat, I believe it was due to a faulty radiator cap. I put a new one on but hadn't driven it yet. If the problem persists I...

Okay, I got a new rad cap. It's autozone 'OEM' but not legit OEM. We'll see how that works. When my car would lose antifreeze I would pull my car over and fill it up. The wierd thing is that when...

Coolant Leak and Overheating

My car loses coolant and I think it's due to the fact that it keeps boiling over. It will only lose a certain amount then it stops. There are no leaks in any hoses, radiator, or any other part of...

Bypassing Sensor by Simply Sending Correct Voltage

I have a 97 del sol si which has a D16Y8 in it. These cars came with OBD2 P28 ecus. This car used to be turbo so I used an OBD1 P28 to tune with. Now that I am back to stock all I could find is an...

Re: cap, rotor, igntion coil replacement d16y8 (fmrprojects)

I'm trying to siimply fix the problem so that I can trade it in. If I have to I will replace the rotor but I don't think that's the issue. But I will keep what you said in mind

Re: cap, rotor, igntion coil replacement d16y8 (94EG8)

I may be able to get ahold of a multimeter but I'm not sure. It would save me money though.

When you say check the injectors, I doubt they're bad because I recently changed my fuel filter but...

Re: cap, rotor, igntion coil replacement d16y8 (94EG8)

The reason I ask is because I'm getting a couple weird misfire codes so I may need to replace the coil and the cap, forget the rotor. So to do this I would only need to remove the distributor cap...

Re: cap, rotor, igntion coil replacement d16y8 (94EG8)

Hey guys,

I have yet another issue with my high mileage civic. I recently finished changing the camshaft oil seal and the oil pump seal because they were leaking. The car was running great until...

Re: Oil Pump Removal (Spool This)

why is it obviously not the pump. It only leaks when the car is running, oil pumps have pressure in them when the car is on, therefore it's gotta be the pump

Re: Oil Pump Removal (95dxsir2)

my mistake. Well there's oil coming from that general area. It's either squirting out of the oil pump where the orings are or its leaking out the crankshaft front oil seal. There's no easy way to...

Re: lightened flywheel question (project4dr-eg)

yeah, you're going to need a lightened flywheel bypass sensor since your car is OBD2. I sell them for 3 gabillion dollars.
