Just off the top of my head... if the car didn't have a rear windshield wiper originally, then my guess is the white plug is for that.

I believe the interior lights are under the steering wheel in the interior set of fuses. Just pop off the panel and everything should be labeled.

The response I got was to change the "Thermo Unit". I haven't done this yet, i just unplugged the sender so that the gauge doesn't get jacked...
