Re: Question regardimg HondaTuning Magazine turbo acticle

Wow. Okay, I wasn't expecting a response like that. I was expecting a response like "Well just for the short length of time they were doing it for the magazine wouldn't hurt it, but long-term engine...

Ater taking yet another close look at this article:

I'm left a little uncertain. In the above article, they...

re: ***The Official Nitrous Thread***

Why so high? I've heard of people putting their pressures high like this, but never investigated the reason. Just curious.

re: ***The Official Nitrous Thread***

More info please. Mounted on the solenoid? This wouldn't be for a direct port layout would it? Must be referring to a single fogger.

Naw man, I really meant N/F. I was curious if you ever had...

re: ***The Official Nitrous Thread***

Which nozzles do you prefer with your combinations? Fuel pressure? Bottle pressure? Brand of solenoid (just curious)?

Nitrous to fuel ratio? Leaner or fatter (6:2 or 5:3, etc)? Timing? Fuel...

re: ***The Official Nitrous Thread***

Which usually goes first with nitrous motors?

1) The pistons

2) The rods

?????

I ask this since GM did a test at the birth of the Ecotec racing operation, and they initially sprayed a...

Re: Need Arias part# from a specific Honda-tuning article.

I'll never see the 600hp mark. More like just over half of that number so I can drive it everyday. The thing that interests me is the fact that the pistons are of a weight that they are able to be...

Need Arias part# from a specific Honda-tuning article.

Back years ago Honda-tuning did an article (can't find the article) involving a B16 with a stock bottom end with the exception of Arias pistons that they literally just had installed without...

Re: Reversed superchargers: I just proved it can be done.

Just imagine an Ecotec blower with the pulley snout on the other rotor. That's what my deal looks like.

Re: Reversed superchargers: I just proved it can be done.

I suppose my whole deal is that i'm not bragging about being able to reverse a blower since that's elementary, and common sense will tell you that it'll work. lol

I'm simply relaying the fact that...

Re: Reversed superchargers: I just proved it can be done.

I pressed some rotor gears off, and repressed them on. The flow path exiting the bottom of the blower is the same. I did this with an electric motor, and this proved to be true.

The whole idea is...

Re: Reversed superchargers: I just proved it can be done.

What you'd need to do is press off the drive gear from one rotor and flip flop it with the gear on the other rotor and rotate the end plate snout to turn it. Perhaps this wasn't clear in my first...

Reversed superchargers: I just proved it can be done.

I just did it with an Ecotec blower.

The proof is now history. For years I knew that the s/c's that we have access to, which are typically factory s/c's, can be reversed to accomodate the...

2000 DC2 OBD2B: Greddy turbo kit compatibility?

I've heard both yes and no in regards to the 2001 OBD2B cars compatibility with the Greddy turbo kit. What's the truth?

Yeah, I really did search, but I used Google and a couple of other...

Re: <<<<POST YOUR SLAMMED CARS PART 4>>>>

Kevin, and others, are you guys running adj. uca's or camber kits at all?

Somewhere I read of all the reasons why you shouldn't when you're slammed, but seems like too much camber would...

Re: <<<<POST YOUR SLAMMED CARS PART 4>>>>

What's the norm as far as drop for the Koni's? Is 3 inches still pushing the envelope even with the Koni shocks? One could always use extended top hats, but there must still be limitations.

Re: <<<<POST YOUR SLAMMED CARS PART 4>>>>

Re: SManager (S300; 1.4.7.0) closed loop question

If it's better for the customer's sake in the end, then I suppose it's the best thing to do. Honestly, the only way i'd ever use it is when i'm finishing up. Before sending it out, set it in closed...
