Re: 2000 civic si coolant issue

Yea I'll be stopping at the local autozone on the way home today to see. Less than two years ago I worked at an Advance while I was in college, I know we never carried them for rent. But Autozone's...

I don't claim to know much about cooling systems...

Re: 2000 civic si coolant issue

I appreciate the input, so don't take this as argumentative...but given the amount of coolant sprayed throughout the engine, its hard to image that there wouldn't be a noticable leak. Literally there...

Re: 00 Civic Si: Need help with o2 sensor

Quick note, there was small leak from one of the seals under the spark plug cover studs. It was not seated correctly and was blowing some air out. I reseated it and pulled the back up fuse to reset...

Re: 00 Civic Si: Need help with o2 sensor

I'm not sure what you're talking about...the downstream o2 is way more expensive than the upstream plus they are two different part numbers. I'm not really worried about saving the $50 or so, I'd...

Re: 00 Civic Si: Need help with o2 sensor

Checked fuel pressure today. 32 psi with vacuum line attached to FPR, 42 without it attached.

Would a clogged cat make a nasty rattling noise at higher rpms?

I'm not sure what to try...
