I have a complete, dissaembled, 1997 F22B2 engine. I'm pretty much giving it all away since I got rid of my honda. So if anyone needs anything or just wants a spare motor to wrench on and build up...

So update I actually replaced the throttle body, cleaned the lower IM, replaced the FITV, IACV, and MAP sensors. I double checked the harnesses to make sure they weren't switched (MAP and TPS). So...

I need some genius diagnosing this problem. the engine is a 97 F22B2. After starting sometimes it will die after a couple seconds, and other times it runs ok. When idling it idles lean...around 16.0...

Random P1298 Code

If I'm getting a random P1298 code should I be concerned that the ELD is dying? Just curious if there's something else electrical that can cause the ecu to throw that code. Thanks! I'm on a 97 SE...

my bad. It's 4 cyl, turbo, auto. factory distributor and ignition. high flow fuel rail and precision 310cc injectors.

engine chokes out and dies consistently

I have a slight problem on my 96 i wanted some help tracing down. I go to start the car and let it idle and it seems to stumble out and then die almost immediately. After two tries it'll idle fine....

I wouldnt even seafoam it with the sheer number of miles that are on it. If you were leaking from the oil filter you would see it, and if it were the pressure sender you would definitely see it...
