Yea, Makin wont give the info out. I know that someone on HT will have it because I have seen were they have matched the paint to other things.

I know that there is no real "volk Magnesium blue" paint code but I want to know if anyone here has used a color code that has matched this one. My local paint shop does not have the machine to scan...

Never mind!!! I figured it out!!!! I had an old d15 and took the main cap and oil pump off of it. THis then made the D15 oil pan fit perfecly. THanks!

So, do you think the three bolts are sufficient to keep the y8 main seal cap sealed to the block? Aslo, what are your suggestions on the oil pump hole for the dipstick?

When i use the Y8 main seal cap, it looks like its seals to the block perfectly, but the dowel pins on the cap are too thick for the block. Also, only one dowel pin fits were it is supposed to go....

What do you mean by a complet y8 set up? I can only use the y8 oil pump beacuse the y8 main seal cap is bigger than the z6 so one bolt does not match to the block. I had an extra d15 main seal cap...

Beautiful. Thats exactly what I needed to know! I am using Cromabase this time by the way. It lays down 100 times better than the Nason and I beleive its better for color matching. Thanks for always...

No, I dont see the need in re-clearing as I was able to buff out all those horrible dry clear spots without the need to re-clear. I was refering to the morrors and in the bumper grill areas and such....

BTW... Just for giggles, I decided to wetsand/buff/polish the front end which did not look that bad as far as clear goes. Look at the outcome. I dont think it looks that bad. Mind you, this is...
