Did the ohm and volt testing, everything came out good. Moving to resetting the dissy with a timing light. If it doesn't fix it, then I'm going to replace the ign control mod.

Thank you for that! Will test those out. I'm going to check valve lash as well, and see if any need adjusting, and also reset the ignition timing on the dizzy. We'll see how that goes and go from...

Oil level is right at full. Only ran about 1500 miles since last change. I'm thinking it maybe the wires, but not sure.

Figured it out. Took the valve cover and top timing cover off, but it on TDC, and pulled the dist cap off. Rotor button was half way in between cylinder #2 and cylinder #1 on the cap. She is out of...

No power loss, will still get up and go. And yeah, idle is fine other than the backfiring or missing, which ever it is.

I'm having the same problems with my d16z6 in my del Sol. I think my IAVC is bad, but I did clean the fast idle thermo-valve (FITV) and it was dirty. It's located on the bottom of your throttle body....

If you're looking to keep a clean JDM look, search Rota in google and go to their website. They have a lot of clean 15" & 16" inch rims.

Looks good there man.

The best way to tint your light is to sand down your lights first, then take some clear coat, add 4 or 5 drops of just black into a small batch, and clear coat your lights....

And yes, there is a CEL present, but it's because of the 02 sensor which I'm having replaced today along with a new header.

Ok, so now I've cleaned and put back on the FITV and the IACV and still doing the same thing. But when it seems like it warms up or whatever, it kicks something on or off and idles fine at 850 RPM....

Yeah, i fixed the timing, but now it's doing something weird. Now when I crank the car is like kind of sputters and the revs up to 2400 RPM and stays there. Then about a min later it starts to surge...
