its at 1400rpm when warmed up higher when cold. Yes it boggs sometimes. but i'll check the plugs 2morrow. but is there a valve somewhere for the fuel? Its a 91 DA RS

The fact is you may need a higher octane fuel than you think, because your engine may be detonating despite you not being able to hear the knock. You have to look for signs of detonation by carefully...

take the teg to a shop that specializes in car electrical and let them do a diagnostic check.
