Re: Pretty sure it's my TCT

Seeing how you already fixed it, this advice isn't going to help lol.

I bought a Ballade Motorsports Heavy Duty TCT when my OEM one started clattering. Hopefully it lasts longer than the OEM honda...

Re: How noisy are the s2000 on highways?

At highway speeds they are quite noisy. I don't daily mine, but cruising at 4k rpm where it's hilly (Engine gets under load) with my exhaust, gets quite loud.

Re: How fast do you go in the rain?

Seeing that you don't even own an s2000 I find this question LULworthy.

But I choose to not even drive mine in the rain. They aren't the best in adverse conditions. But with a somewhat...

Re: What is a 96 Civic EX with 180K miles worth?

Condition would play a big part in its worth.

I'd say in excellent condition I'd pay 2,000

Re: Misfire problem. (verry low rpm)

I don't see how you think corrosion could be his problem. Ive seen some weird stuff, but this is a first for me.

I'd start with the ignition (for the "off timing"). Check your rotor and...

Re: 00 Civic Si - alternator not charging battery

When you post. Consolidate all your thoughts and place them in an organized fashion in one single post so its not as painful to read.

Also, listen to RonJ@HT. He knows what he's talking about....

Re: 95 civic Stuttering Randomly...?

If you put the car under load at low rpm does it stutter then as well? Or does it pull properly? Kinda sounds like an ignition problem. Are there any other symptoms?

Re: What kind of pistons will fit on pr3 rods

I'll second this...

No sense in doing this half-way. Do it right the first time and you'll not have to mess with keeping a hacked together build in one piece.

Re: 'Drag' wheels, junk?

I dont mind them. I've seen pictures of them broken before, but I cant see them breaking for NO reason. Like someone slamming into a wall with them and only showing a pic of the wheel saying how...

Re: Rear disc conversion...what brake hose do I need?

+1 on the 40/40 valve.

and if I remember correctly the 91 civic sedan has a 15/16" mc that doesnt require any line bending or booster changing. just simple bolt on and fill... dont forget to...

Re: GC Top Hats + SKUNK2 Shocks/Springs???

I imagine you would be able to with no problem. the top of the springs should all be the same diameter.

You would probably have better luck posting this in the suspension section. GL

Re: wont start...

If the car does not crank at all. Check and clean your transmission ground with a wire brush. Then if you have the means, check the resistance from the transmission case to the battery neg (blk) pole.

Re: CALLING OUT anyone who has ever dealt with stripped bolt heads.

The chisel and hammer idea might work...

Notch the bolt in the direction it needs to turn to loosen it and keep hitting the chisel with the hammer to turn it...

OR

what I would personally...

Re: 94 Civic Fan issue.

I'll agree with you on replacing the fan relay in the underhood fuse box. But how at all do these symptoms point to the fan motor being bad? OP stated that he hardwired the fan and it ran.

btw....
