find some friends with different short shifters and try them out. It is to your liking. I like my single bend B&M shifter because it sits low. It's to your preference. GL

Prett. Sure it fits coupes and sedan cause I had a GSR muffler on my sedan. Fits perfect. Anything from coupe/sedan would have to be modified to work on hatches. Their rear end is shorter in length....

It's an axle seal. You can't find it at any Parts store. Only at the dealership. Will cost you about $20

Or instead of pounding the top of the lca, pound from the side and wiggle the hub assembly. Always works for me. But if that won't work, do what Jeff360 stated. GL

Any no name shifter off eBay or anywhere else you can get them from will be no good. Had one in my car and it snapped where the threads ended for the knob. B&M is great! I have one and love it. Find...

Mines n/a, but I once experienced that. LOL. Funny thing was I had one fuel injector clip unplugged and sounded like that. No check engine light, lack of power, but the beautiful sound of a Subaru....

It will bolt up, but the actual part that goes over the lca will be a bit long. Like 94EG8 said, you will have to have the tip cut to fit. Looks better on a coupe/sedan.

you probably bought the wrong linkage.

del sol's with the b16 had a shorter shifter because i made the mistake of buying one for my 98 hatch.

again, that would not work because the wires are different from obd2a to obd2b. your speedo will not work and a few other things. you are best off just using your stock harness.

can't do this because of obd2b harness won't plug up to obd2a interior harness. your cluster and all won't work. you're best bet is to do what itsnotfast stated. that is the easiest and workable...

they will fit, but your corner lights will need to be changed out. i think the headlights are different from coupes/hatches to sedans.
