Re: How low can you get your idle with the adjustment screw all the way in?

Yeah, I'm talking about the flat head screw on the throttle body. I adjusted it with the idle control valve unplugged and the service connector jumped. If I have a vacuum leak, it must be very small...

How low can you get your idle with the adjustment screw all the way in?

With my idle adjustment screw all the way in (gsr integra), my idle can only get to a minimum of 750-800 rpm. I'm thinking this probably suggests a vacuum leak, but I'm curious of what effect turning...

For Sale: M&H Racemaster Slicks 8.0 / 23.0 -13

I am selling 2 slicks only. The Lensos are not for sale.
These slicks have 2 passes on them, one pass with a burnout, the other pass without. They still have the mould line down the middle and the...

Re: WTB: Slicks with or without wheels 13" (Seattle, WA)

I have a set of M&H Racemasters 8/23-13. I don't expect to get to the track anytime soon so I was thinking about posting them on ebay.
These have 2 passes on them, one pass with a burnout, the...

Correlation between AFR and ignition timing

I am wondering if air/fuel ratio and timing are independent from each other in terms of tuning for max torque. For example, if I get my WOT AFR dialed in to a rich value (forced induction) that is...

I have an engine block that I want to turn into a coffee table. I plan on painting it with a single stage metallic paint from Summit.

What will the outcome be if I skip priming and paint over the...

How do I know the CFM rating of my air compressor?

I just bought a Black Max 6.5hp, 2 stage, 80gal compressor.

First of all, does anyone know the cfm rating of this compressor at lower than 100psi? I can't find this information online anywhere. ...

For someone with home electrical experience. My plan for wiring a 220v air compressor

I just bought a 220v air compressor that says it runs at 22 amps.
I am hoping that someone with electrical experience can tell me if Anything is wrong with my plan for wiring it up. I wan't to make...

Gear Compensation - Question about my tune. Why decrease fuel in 4th gear?

I lost my tune file and was forced to download the calibrations from my s300 ECU. I am worried that some of the information was not transferred correctly.

Some of the parameter values look...

For those using the AEM methanol injection kit - What nozzle did you end up using?

If you are using the AEM meth kit, which of the three supplied nozzles did you use? Please also list your basic setup, power, and AFR. Thanks!

Re: Muckman’s Integra High Compression Super Build

Great build, I'm glad you took the time to write everything up and share. Have you had a chance to wire up the resistor for the knock sensor yet? Please give an update on that. I'm interested in...

Re: What is the water/alcohol ratio of Snow Performance's Boost Juice?

You're right the differences are small (44.2% vs. 49% meth) and probably won't affect anything, but I want to know to keep things consistant.

What is the water/alcohol ratio of Snow Performance's Boost Juice?

From their website, the mix is 49% Methanol/51% water. Does anyone know if this is by volume or mass?

I emailed SP a while back with this question, but never received a reply.

quick question, can i use this hose end on my -3 AN feed line?

I stripped the threads on my turbo feed line and would like to replace the hose end rather than the entire line.

I am looking at this hose end:

Re: LSV Turbo Major smoke from valve cover

Yeah, definitely suggests cracked ringlands on cly 3. That seems to usually be the first piston to go. If the other 3 pistons look good, you don't need to replace them. But cyl. 3 definitely needs...

Re: I am having trouble setting my valve lash. I can't get enough slack...

I just realized I did this wrong. You are correct, it should be off of the lobes at TDC. I was looking at the cylinder order backwards. 4-1 instead of 1-4. Now I need to go back and set all of...

Re: I am having trouble setting my valve lash. I can't get enough slack...

I switched back to 0 degrees and was able to make the adjustments without problems.

The manual says to set lash at TDC. At TDC the lobes will not be up. They are on the flat flank area. I set...

Re: I am having trouble setting my valve lash. I can't get enough slack...

I think I figured out my problem. I have adjustable cam gears which I currently have set at about 6 degrees from stock. I think I should have zeroed them out first. I'll try that and reply if I...

I am having trouble setting my valve lash. I can't get enough slack...

I am adjusting my valves on my gsr that I just rebuilt. I am unable to get enough slack for one of my cyl. 1 intake valves (the others are all fine). I am shooting for about 0.007" clearance. With...
