Re: What Have you done to your Prelude today?

Gotcha. Didn't realize you are on the race gas. Taking pics of other people racing isn't bad....but wasting the money and experience you gain by being on the track instead, is. I like to go watch...

Re: aftermarket throttle body problem

Vacuum leak? Are you sure the TB gasket seated all the way? Maybe the TPS is bad on it also. Just because it's new, doesn't mean it can't be broken. Get a volt meter and check the Helms for the...

Re: The Official 5th Gen Prelude Picture Thread - No comments/Replies/Flaming

Wow the guy in the fire-breathing S2000 can't drive worth a dick. Was he drunk? I've never seen anybody take that bad of a line or be all over the track like that.

Re: NEW Speed Theory Vacuum Manifolds/Fitting Kits/Cam Seals + More!

Nevermind. If it takes you more than 5 days to answer my question about availability, I'd hate to think how long it will take you to actually get me the part. I'll just order one from PasswordJDM.

Re: NEW Speed Theory Vacuum Manifolds/Fitting Kits/Cam Seals + More!

You got any purple cam seals in stock? PM me back please. I have a tiny, little oil dribble, and that purple is hot, even though I'll never see it on the h22...

Re: What Have you done to your Prelude today?

Shit, you could use ky jelly. It is water based, so you know it won't affect the rubber o-rings. It's just to lube them so they do not snag and tear on any sharp, jagged burr that may be on your...

Re: What Have you done to your Prelude today?

I put vaseline on mine when installing. It helps them go in without catching on anything and tearing, and also probably provides at least some kind of anti-dryrotting, until it melts away, anyways.

Re: Make sure you pull the valve cover and spark plugsbefore installing your engine..

Yeah, those 30 day start up warranties are BS. Especially since when you buy a swap, you might only be able to work on it here and there (weekends) or you may be waiting on other parts, like a clutch...

Re: heat wrap?

Thanks. I know a lot of people hate on wrapping the header, but regardless of what anybody says, it looks way better than a lame ass heat shield with the "don't touch" logo, or a stock rusty header...

Mine is painted with high-temp header paint, only the first 2 inches. I didn't paint the hole thing because I wasn't sure how the paint would hold up under the wrap. The paint has to be able to do...

Yeah, heat wrap is controversial.....Everybody who doesn't have it, thinks that it will crack your header. Everybody I've ever met or talked to who ACTUALLY has a wrapped header, has never had a...

Re: h22a too slow!! v6!!!!

You will almost definately not have room to boost a V6 swap in a prelude. The manifolds will take up too much room. That's assuming you can even fit a v6 in a Prelude without extensive firewall...

Re: What Have you done to your Prelude today?
