Re: Resurrected 97 Del Sol fuel level sensor

You can compare part numbers a Honda parts site like hondapartsnow.com to find a replacement. I don't know the answer off the top of my head.

Re: First Gen CRV Keyless Entry in a 94 Accord LX.

I would recommend finding a Helm manual for a CRV and follow the wiring diagram. I've never retrofit this before, but do have a crv. To put it into program it is connected to the ignition "on" wire.

Re: Cleaning throttle body mistake?

First determine what code(s) you have. autozone places do it for free if you don't have a scanner..

Re: Throttle Body 69A0, B16A Del Sol

So, you have a b16 throttle body, with a Y8 manifold, on a Y7 engine? this is a common "upgrade" for the D series. What issues are you exactly having?

Re: Guide for/anyone tried dismantling hvac system?

No special tools other than properly/legally evacuating the freon. You will need extensions and maybe a swivel socket extension (or whatever its called) when removing parts. If you are just trying to...

Re: 2000 honda crv upgrade suggestions

Does your B20 have that "tall" intake? If not, an intake for a 96-00 civic should work Ex or Si model. If it's a 2wd model, any b-series header should work, as long as the collector is correct size.

Re: Cheap em1 clutch slave cylinder

To remove the hardline, I would recommend a flare nut wrench. You don't want to strip that and have to replace it.. For the bleeding nipple piece a standard socket/spanner will be fine.

Re: Takata air bag recall.. 96-2000 - And other safety items discussions.

that was another thing the article said. honda has to have a new manufacturer create the airbags as Takata had stopped along time ago.

Re: Cheap em1 clutch slave cylinder

Exeddy (sp?) offers a very affordable slave cylinder. Working very well on my b20 crv and worked great on my old b16a. $10 on exedy.com

Re: CR-V Intermittent misfire / rough idle

For some reason Honda used a different valve adjustment timeframe, this caused a lot first gen V's to burn valves (going much longer than any other B-series released). I would look here as stated by...

Re: B16A Dyno Tuning

You could always add a wideband o2 to verify if you are running lean and go from there.

Re: B16A Dyno Tuning

If you are just running an intake/exhaust, you don't need a tune, you could maybe squeeze a pony or two out of it with a tune, but it is not necessary. Now, if you put aftermarket cams in there, yes...

Re: Takata air bag recall.. 96-2000 - And other safety items discussions.

So, has anyone actually had their airbag replaced yet? I just check the site and it's directing me to take to Honda right away. Gonna call tomorrow.

Re: First Gen CRV largest tires?

I've read that 215/75/15 can fit without a lift. I personally haven't used this tire, but I do have 215/65/16 and have ZERO rubbing at any flex.

Re: broken plastic trim tabs

ebay/junkyard/facebook/part-outs is your only option really. But also look for coupes, they have the same plastic sill pieces and share a lot of other pieces too.
