They will not fit without lots of body work. You're much better off finding a used set online or in a junkyard.

Re: newbie needs advice
I'd leave it stock. First gens are tough to find in good condition and HFs were rated at 42/51 MPG. Performance wise, a second gen CRX is a better option and finding a shell isn't too difficult.

I have 16" Tenzo-R DC-6 Version 2 rims on my EH and I'm happy with them for daily driving. I'd recommend them to you for your usage.

Re: Larger factory wheels for 03 Odyssey?
I know a 2010 Honda Element SC came with 18s and a 5x114.3 bolt pattern. Not sure if they'd fit but they're genuine Honda OEM rims.

May want to take a second to check fluid levels across the board as well. Also, inspect the battery.

The symptoms sound like motor mounts to me. Re-torque them to spec or replace the broken mounts if they are worn.

Re: winter tires
In a P225/60R16 98T for your Odyssey, I'd recommend the Michelin X-Ice 2s or Blizzak WS 70s.

Check out the Michelin LTX M/S. I have them on one of my trucks and I love them. Smooth, quiet, full depth tread sipes, and they do great in snow. Unfortunately, the M/S 2s are not yet available in...

I've not experienced nor heard of these tires doing too well in the winter nor longevity. Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S Pluses are far better all-season tires.

I've seen this problem before but never a solution other than replacing the rims. Tapered lugnuts may work if the holes are only slightly elongated and properly torqued. Have you spoken to the shop...

Are you referring to the holes in the rims in which the studs go through and the lug nut secures?

No tire or vehicle manufacturer will ever recommend mixing speed ratings. While you wont run in to many issues with top speed stability as nsxtasy has fore mentioned, the sidewall construction does...

Hard to say without closer inspection of the rims and without knowing what kind of tires and tire condition those are as to whether it's a good deal or not. They look like BBS knockoffs.
