OK thanks rpared, I opened the ecu and right on the top of the plastic part that holds the plugs, hidden under the top metal cover is a sticker with the serial, and it says P2P.... EX ecu. problem...

more helpful info:

The car on the mystery ecu current has these problems:

When cold, in open loop, it will idle on its own, but if I give it any gas, it will fall from the revs when I let off...

Our engines have a higher effiency range. You lugging a bit if your shift low. I think honda said effiency is best above 3200 rpm (dont quote me on that, but thats what I'm remembering)

IMO 45 in rear on an 8" rim is about the limit of what looks goofy in the rear. Your 48 will look lightly better, but it will still be out more than stock, which can look akward on a stock ride...
