Re: Help me pick a tire setup..

You're really going to want a 24.5" tall slick. MT and M&H make a few sizes in 15". You will also want a 15x8 or 15x9 wheel.

Re: S2000 live axle swap, what suspension

I'd just run your standard 4 link kit from anyone of the chassis builder companies. Nothing special.

Re: Ultra Light Car with Solid Rear Suspension

I'd just run the stock style suspension. It works well. You can get well under 1900lbs with driver with enough cutting.

There's also a much much higher chance of this car actually getting built.

Re: Fender hits my slicks

If you don't want to raise the car up or change your current wheels, then the only option are larger fenders or flares. Is what it is.

Re: slick and rim size recommendations, eg 500hp+

24.5" slick for either setup. Minimum wheel width of 8 inches.

Re: Drag dot slick info

225/50/15 is the way to go. You could run the 205s though.

Re: Turbo h22a best hp for standard wheels?

Boost by gear, correct tires, and a good driver takes care of the traction issues.

Re: Drag dot slick info

These work good:

Launching a fwd car on DOT tires sucks. You should be able to get around a 1.8 60ft though.

Re: H2b info

It should make the same power on either one as long as the tuner is good.
The S300 just has more features.

I prefer Neptune RTP, works great and it's a little cheaper than the S300.

Re: H2b info

It'll make around 200whp. It should also run somewhere in the 12s if you can drive.

Really hard to say though, only way to find out is run it on the dyno and take it to the track.

Re: CRX launch????

It really depends and nobody will be able to tell you. You just have to play with the launch rpm until the car doesn't bog/spin.

Re: 900 HP e85 dual Grams 255 in tank and ID2000s

Just like he said. More pump and possibly larger injectors.

You should be able to make around 900 with your setup otherwise though.

Re: Drag slick beadlock question

I run my slicks around 7-8psi without rim screws or beadlocks.

You'll probably need to step up to a 24.5 slick with your power level.

Re: Tires for dyno....

235/60/15 radials would work better than the 225s. VHT or 3m super 77 helps a lot and you wouldn't even need to switch tires probably.

Re: Slick size, FWD setup?

Definitely try a 3rd gear burnout and really low tire pressure. 7-8psi is usually what my car likes.
My car on stock suspension doing the above will get 1.6 60fts.

Let me know how it works and we...

re: Opinions needed: D-series turbo-Exhaust muffler options

I like Magnaflow stainless steel mufflers with 3" piping. Straight through design and they're pretty quiet.
