Re: '94 Accord: Dash illuminating light, day lights out after jumping car

right, and a more constructive comment would have been, have you checked fuse #32?

Re: '94 Accord: Dash illuminating light, day lights out after jumping car

Problem solved, but not without a casualty. I lost my fuse puller in the fast expanses of my engine bay.... uhg.
The problem was fuse #32, 15Amp described as: Dash Lights, parking lights,...

Re: '94 Accord: Dash illuminating light, day lights out after jumping car

ok... so after reading about which fuse it could be, and checking a diagram I changed the fuse that looked busted. The problem is, after I changed it with several different 7.5 fuses the problem...

Icon2 '94 Accord: Dash illuminating light, day lights out after jumping car

So recently I had to jump my car, and I think the way they attached the cables it blew out some of my electrical.
They tried to attach the negative cable to the chassis and there were some sparks...

Re: About to get air filter and fuel filter replaced. (dueceman)

a lot of places don't charge for air filter changes if you buy the filter from them but it might be a nice idea to change the fuel filter at a shop. It's very difficult to change the fuel filter on...

Re: has anyone seafoamed there accord? (double b from wv)

I would recommend changing your oil after you do that. I've heard it's a good idea from many people.

Re: 95 Honda Accord Heater Issue (glsspder)

probably the thermostat being stuck open cooling your system too well and taking forever for your heat to come on. Does your temp needle stay low for a while? once it's warmed up I think the needle...

Re: Throttle Sticking open on a 97 Accord (DrGorilla)

The solution is probably to clean the throttle body, which could be caked in carbon crud. Spray some throttle body cleaner in there and I think that will help a lot, it is very easy to get to. Just...

Re: Questions about Auto Tranny Fllush for 1995 Accord (m1ndless)

not sure if you know but make sure you get Honda ATF, not anything else. Honda transmissions seem to be pretty picky so get the right stuff...

Re: (20ls01)

yeah man, just get a manual EX accord. V6's certainly aren't worth it. They only introduced the V6 to compete with the other companies that were releasing them, so pretty much the weight of the...

Re: (gamemaster000)

it's not the rotors, trust me. His main problem occurs without breaking and he even said the tie rod boot is fucked up. It's a given. My car had a messed up tie rod and did the same thing..

Re: (randomae)

it's the tie rod. At higher speeds, messed up tie rods cause the shaking. You said you know it's messed up right?
Go get it fixed, it doesn't cost much to get done, around 80 - 90$.
I'm really sure...

Re: (Charri)

heh yeah, it doesn't help that it's right by the radiator hose and shit. Best to drive the car then let it cool down for 5 or 10 mins maybe. At least you'll only sear your hand off instead of your...

Re: what all should be changed durning a timing belt change? (sony224422)

Just go to a local mechanic and get the stuff done. The Honda dealership charges way to much. I got it done at a local mechanic for around 315$, and Honda wanted 700 for the same job. They need to...

Re: (m1ndless)

you'll always feel the shift, and I'm glad I can. The 5th gen accords have somewhat rough automatic shifts and they're known for it. Doesn't mean it's bad quality, it's just how they are. I'm not...

Re: (20ls01)

Yeah, I guess thats true GhostAccord, but I wonder how imperative it is to get it changed at the 72 month interval. He's probably way past it anyway but still, I wonder how bad a timing belt will...

Re: (HONDAVTIS)

Just so you know, you shouldn't have gotten your timing belt done until 90,000 miles, unless it's dramatically different in australia. Most Accords timing belts need to be changed then. Valves...

Re: clicking noise from the engine, need help pls. (sony224422)

at that low mileage it's probably the valves. Just get them adjusted. I'm assuming your car is around 90,000 miles if you got the timing belt done.

Re: clicking noise from the engine, need help pls. (HONDAVTIS)

Well, imports are usually noisy.. so mine always has a slight tap. It could be your timing but if they couldn't diagnose it as that then it might not be. Not sure why it only does it in first gear.

Re: (ujhonda)

yeah, my coolant consumption was due to the radiator splitting ever so slightly. I could barely see the crack and didn't even notice it until it got bigger. I ran the car for a few months burning...

Re: Right wheel clicks when turning left. (timcali69)

Could be the CV axle or the upper ball joint. Most likely the CV axle. Check the boot of the upper ball joint and if it's leaking that might be it. Also check the CV boot...

doubt it cause they just got replaced. They weren't new parts but still.
I thought I would try to fix it the cheap way and sprayed some WD-40 between the brake rotors and around them, but not on the...

Re: Front right wheel squeak (02 accord)

I would assume so but what's the fix? I know the rotors are pretty damn low but the pads are pretty thick.
