with the car running, ensure that the alternator is charging the battery. should be 14v+ while running, if not your battery wont have enough juice to start it up again

take out the allen plug on the side of the head to gain access to the shafts that hold the rockers in place. a 17mm honda bolt will thread into the shaft. pull the shaft out a little and u'll see the...

the taller pin goes on the exhaust side and the flat/shorter pin goes on intake. if u have it reversed, cam caps wont close

its recommended to be using the copper headgaskets with oring'ed blocks. what are u torquing the head down to? reputable shop do the oringing? it's either your orings or the headgasket not sealing...

for break in, i usually take it out a good 50 miles or so with A LOT of engine braking which helps with seating the new rings. and if you're on a proper map, get on it all u want!

a stock civic replacement will work fine, or you can get an aftermarket civic radiator.
