Re: Vtec Solenoid Oil Leak

Looks like after 188K miles, the o-ring had just hardenened and flattened enough to let some oil get by. It has only been a day an 40 or so miles, but everything is still nice and clean now, at...

Re: cross threaded oil pan drain plug

I have used a Time-Sert repair on two stripped Honda oil pans with good results. They look about the same as the OPs original pic, only mine are shorter and are made specifically for this type of...

Re: 96 Accord, trouble starting when engine is warm.

I had a similar problem with our CR-V turned out the temp sensor was bad. There are three on a CR-V: one for the temp gauge in dash, one for the rad fans, and then one for the Computer. The...

Re: cracked rad

In all honesty, I have not owned a Honda yet with more than 100K that the radiator wasn't leaking at the top or bottom seal, or was not cracked at a radiator hose connection. Just a "feature" of the...

Changed the radiator hoses, bypass hose, and thermostat. The upper and bypass hose had leaks.

Next: Clean the throttle body and IAC.
