Re: Header thermo heat wrap

Stainless steel doesn't rust. If you you have a mild steel header then it is probably going to rust anyway, whether you have wrap on it or not. The wrap will just speed the process up a bit. Wrap...

Re: JDM Climate Control Install

I would love to do this mod, but I don't have the patience or the energy to tear the whole freaking dash out like that. Props to you for doing it though.

Re: H22 damage. Lots of detonation

UM, yeah. That would be detonation. If you are getting lots of blowby then you have probably toasted the rings too. Judging by the scoring on the cylinder walls I would would say you have. Good thing...

Re: Any one know where to get mugen parts

You can find Mugen parts dirt cheap in the UK. You can buy a whole Mugen Prelude there for what you can buy a front bumper for here in the US. The only problem is finding someone that will ship them...

Re: How to take the spring out

If you are replacing them with lowering springs you most likely will not need a spring compressor. It helps to have a friend to put weight on them though. I did mine without a spring compressor with...

Re: Help. Car pulls to the right upon braking??!?!?!!?!?

radius rod bushings could cause this problem. It would also cause the car to be out of alignment. Bad shocks can also cause the car to pull slightly under braking.

Re: Need advice on how to get 250+ from an all motor h22a4

250+ N/A with our motors is not unachievable but it is costly. For what you would spend to do it N/A you could get a lot more by boosting it even on a stock block. Cams and springs would be the first...

Re: teflon coated sleeves????

FRM=Fiber Reinforced Metal. Most shops don't have the proper equipment to hone FRM. It is not an easy process to rehone FRM from what I understand. You should do a search on this site to find out if...

Re: Distributor question!!

If your car and harness are OBD1, you need an OBD1 distributor. 93 is OBD1 so I would have to say that you need an OBD1 distributor. The wiring is different for OBD1 and OBD2. Your harness will not...

Re: Need help! Driver door wont unlock properly

Did you get a new latch or an actuator? The power door lock actuator has nothing to do with locking and unlocking the door with a key. You could also have a bent lock rod. The one that runs from the...

Re: Door lock issues need suggestion

A bolt and nut with a spacer in between should work fine. Just make sure the rods still move up and down freely. I would also use some type of lubricant like lithium grease to make sure it moves...

Re: Need an answer ASAP! H22a1 rod vs h22a4 rod

The way the piston is attached to the rod is different on an a1 and a4. An a1 piston will not work with an a4 rod and vice versa.

Re: Whats the Best Transmission???

Higher number = "shorter" gear, which means lower speed at certain RPM. Also, you can change your rev limit if you want to but I wouldn't suggest it. Not on an F series engine anyway. They are prone...
