mehh, it was working for about 3 weeks now, and i guess decided to die just now. so it was working when i installed it, so i'm not puttin the dude at fault. just shitty luck on my end i guess.

i just bought this mishimoto/FAL combo from some dude on PP who claims less than 6 months use. its to replace my generic ebay rad/fan that was leaking.

so just this morning i swapped the FAL fan...

that's not a bad idea since mine is boosted too, and is very slowly becoming my non-DD hahaha.

so basically cut the wires to the fan (since they're soldered together), resolder, new fuse, and see if it blows?


since i'm getting a feeling this new (to me, at least) FAL slim fan is on its...

i was bleeding the coolant today, wondering why my fan wouldn't come on, and found the blown fuse.
replaced it with another 20A,...

10-4 on not using extensions.

1/2" breaker bar + 6' steel pipe that i got from home depot = me taking axle nuts and crank pulley bolts out whenever i want.

its just a stock Tee that's blocked, you don't need it.

nope, not overheating at idle. i tried bleeding the coolant today and noticed the t-stat didn't even open after the fan cycled on/off twice. and its about 80-85 degrees today. its a new (autozone)...

i'm wondering about this as well. i'm currently having overheating problems in 80+ degree weather going 80mph, but when i slow to 65 it goes back down to half-way.


i also have no-name civic half...

lower timing cover, drivers side engine bracket, H23 PS pump, and oil pan are solddd
