Upgrading to an alternator capable of delivering 10 more ampere of current will not help, unless there is a larger stator available for it. I would like to run a pair with at least 150a output each.

I would agree that it is controlled via ecu, but i did not know if it ran to a sensor also. It is a larger gauge wire, so i thought maybe it is interrupted somewhere by a solidstate device first as...
