I know I got significatnly more than 3-4 more horsepower on my 94 LX auto when I did my intake, header, & exhaust.

What more can be said? You've already done the drop-in filter, which is almost as cheap as a power gain can be, and others have suggested weight reduction, which will only cost you your own time.

Most likely your front brake rotors are warped. If you can afford it, you may want to invest in some aftermarket slotted & cross-drilled rotors & brake pads. Don't go for anthing that won't fit...
