how high is your safe limit on the rpms?
i would def say about 1" shorter that a type r manifold from tip of the v-stack the the flange. a nice 74mm t/b and you should be good.
i would worry about...

Nothing wrong with 97mm........when are we gonna see the 88mm setup in action?
tell you the truth the 97mm motor will make more power everywhere with less compression.

i noticed you swaped engines. get a first gen 4g63 6 bolt engine. it bolts right in. you just have to worry about adapting the ecu. good luck and evjoy the donouts

what are the toloeances of the engine? porsche engine are built as racing engine with very tight tolerances and are air cooled....porshe isn't known for its engine reliability

quality is aslo very important. i started using a additive at every oil change.....reguardless of oil it makes a difference
