Well i got to the bottom of the problem. When i was rebuilding the engine one of the cam cap bolts had snapped and i got the bolt drilled out.

I had cleaned the head out but obviously not well...

never worked on a k series but at a guess , keep the cam gears and chain round them tight, unbolt the cams from the cam gears and swap ? . anywhere close ?

surge tank question

im thinking about making a fuel surge tank but while looking at everyone elses setups i notice everyone has a feed pump to the tank , then another (bigger) pump from the surge tank to the fuel rail....

crower stg 3 or ek9 cams?

got a chance of a good deal on crower stage 3 cams with springs and retainers or a set of ek9 cams,

currently running 400hp b18c ,dont know if the bigger cams would work well with the turbo setup...
