That aluminum cracking like that is from him bottoming out the runners up against the flange and not giving the runners any expansion when heated and cooled.

Its a shot at getting into the construction aspect of tig welding.

Its not a union.

Yes its what I do. And no your not a bad structural tig welder. Start doing it on pipe and walking the cup.

Are you dead set about staying in chicago? If not then look up tradesman international, they have alot of pipe welding jobs. Try talking to them about being a fitter helper. You will and can travel...

Tips on how to polish S.S pipes?

I have an ok method in polishing the pipes for SS but looking for better and possible faster options to think about.

What light switch. The gauge cluster lights, the license plate light and rear running lights are all on one circuit. I tested it all, I checked all the grounds and fuses. Im going to go do that light...

I have checked the fuses and all grounds everything attached. I have been trying to find info on the web about why its not working. Is their a relay thats causing these lights to no longer come on?

damn in ohio you should have put in the wirzbro(sp?) heating system, where there is line ran in the floor for hot water heater hooked up to. It runs hot water through the floor keeping it at a nice...

Im building some dump tubes and the pipe is 1.75 anyone know where a descent place to pick this up at would be? I tried ace they dont have it and the only other place I found is 27.95 per 90.

You can always run a 60mm gate lol. I had a single 44mm on my 4088r k series car and it only boosted 5psi past spring pressure.

Looks like you made good progress from the first pictures. Try making consistent motion and steps without filler rod, then start adding filler rod. It looks like your distance that you travel before...
