Re: over heating problem

When my water pump was going out, it started making a whining niose intermittently.
Are you hearing any noises coming from the timing belt area?
When is the last time it was replaced?

Did you change all the bushings?
You said you replaced the trailing arm bushings with new OEM. Did you clock them right?

Re: front end question

Perhaps a bad tie rod? Jack up the front and see if you can move the tire, feel for any play.
While you're down there, look for torn bushings, torn tie rod boots, etc.

Re: Driver side axle clicking

definitely look underneath first. It doesn't sound like a CV joint going out. When mine were going out, it drove just fine going straight. They only made noise when turning.
Also, bad CV joint...

True, but if installed right, they tighten up automatically and there is really no adjustment

Re: Random no crank problem - stock 93 civic 1.5L

Unplug the 2 wire clip going to the clutch switch. Insert a paperclip inside the clip and tape it off with electrical tape. Then the car will start without having to push the clutch in. See if that...

Re: 1994 Civic EX, driver's seat seems "soft"

That's weird. I don't think there are any springs in those seats, just foam. I could be wrong though. Either way, they suck lol

Re: Temp gauge question

how old are your water pump and timing belt?

When my water pump was going out, it only made noise intermittently and was not leaking coolant.

Re: Temp gauge question

better bundle up lol

Seriously though, I'm pretty sure replacing the heater core will fix your issue. I've never had to do that but pulling the dash is a PITA

Good luck

Re: Temp gauge question

I'm not familiar with your Acura but on my Civic, the temp gauge NEVER goes up to halfway. It only goes up about a third of the way

It's on the left side of the dash, NOT on the steering column. It adjust the brightness of your dash lights.

Re: Short Ram Intake

If I remember right, I ended up getting rid of the metal connector altogether and just replaced the coolant hose with a longer one... then I ran a silicone hose from the breather tube to the intake.

Re: help with gauge cluster lighting

Looks at the back of the manual cluster and see if you notice any burnt lines in the circuit board. Sounds to me like you need a new cluster.

Re: car wont start???? i get fuel/spark

I'm sure you are but make sure you're looking at the right marks when checking timing. When I did mine, I had to read the manual several times to understand which marks to line up.
